Today is departure day.
We are all packed, weighed (all good! Phew) and about to pick the kids up from school.
Our resident Swedish weather expert (AKA Ylva), has been providing daily snow reports. We are hopeful that the snow sticks around. When a Stockholm native reports that it is cold, we fair-weather Australians probably ought to take note. So the chances of seeing snow early in the trip are increasing.
Of course, the temperature difference between 35 degrees to -1 degrees at arrival (at night) might be extreme for some, but the Ingrams are up for the challenge. We will let you know how we go!
So it’s off to school pick up, home for showers and those DVT stockings ? (just me actually!), before Uncle Al picks us up for the ride to the airport.
Days on trip maintaining the blog = 1

Have fun and stay safe!! Love from the Alpen’s xx
Thanks Alpens
So excited for you all… Good on Unca al for getting you to the airport on time…. you should be hitting the tarmac soon love, Hersh.
We were a little late leaving due to that amazing lightening storm – we have all travelled so well. In Denmark now about to have Breakfast with Tine Bjarne, Kristen and Sophie. They surprised us by meeting us at the airport. So lovely.
Have Fun guys! 🙂 Looking forward to reading about the trip.
